From the correspondence I receive, and from looking at my google statistics, I think I have a good idea of the type of people who read my blog. In general, it appears that you're a very creative assortment, interested in arts, craft & design, vintage & recycling . Here is something new that might be of interest to you.VivaLaModa is an electronic magazine produced in Spain but written in English. Rather than explain what an electronic magazine is, you can experience it yourself at the end of this article.
It was created by the blogger GilBea (http://gilbea.blogspot.com) who has an excellent blog about fashion and handmade items. But if you have an excellent blog, why publish an electronic magazine?
Here's an extract from an email I received from GilBea explaining the reasons behind the magazine.
"VivaLaModa is the best way I can promote all the handmade & vintage world to outsiders, to fashion lovers in general. With a magazine that looks profesional (and it's free!) it is easier to show that handmade & vintage products can be as cool and high quality as mass produced and super expensive designer items.
This magazine exists thanks to all the collaborators that write amazing articles for it and to all the artists out there that create fantastic things."
The magazine not only covers fashion, but also makeup tips, gardening, decoration, kids ideas, tutorials, food and much more!
You can visit the magazine at http://www.vivalamoda.co.cc/
You will get ideas and inspiration from it, that I promise.

ReplyDeleteSounds great. I'll go check it out as soon as I'm done with this week's session of playing "catch up" with your blog. (Oh, yes. I do appreciate recycling, re-working, or up-cycling as it's sometimes called in fashion/sewing).
