Spains highest mountain Mulhacen is 11,413 feet and climbs gently to the summit. So gently that I once walked to the top, actually it was more of a stroll.

Dotted up the mountain there are pretty white villages, forests and streams.

In my village and down to the coast it feels like summer, but halfway up the moutain it's still spring, and at the top of the mountain there's still snow and it's winter.

This garden is about 12 miles from me but at least 2 months behind, it sits halfway up the mountain. It makes the perfect retreat from the heat of a Spanish summer.
