I've spent many years photographing houses, from the grand to the humble, but most houses have one thing in common, very un-interesting bathrooms.

I think toilets maybe considered vulgar by many people and therefore are decorated discreetly.

This impressive and imaginative bathroom is a Dutch/Belgium collaboration and sits proudly in a house in Spain. Everything is sculptured and tiled by hand. I think the tiling is very ceative and works well. Floors are polished cement, the steel light shade is from a secondhand shop.

Do you like it?

  1. This isn't my type of bathroom but I'd certainly enjoy it if I were a guest in this house.

Bet kids would have fun flushing this toilet.

  3. I love it! So colorful, and though it wouldn't fit in with the decor of my house, I certainly wish my bathrooms were that size. Makes mine look like a broom closet. lol

  4. I'm sorry, but that toilet is a hoot! It looks like a giant club chair in Pee Wee Herman's house.
