

There used to be a time, maybe 20 years ago, when every good catholic would announce their faith by nailing a religious symbol on the front door. Religious door decorations are no longer fashionable in southern europe, which is a pity because they add a bit of character and are very camp. You can still find these images of Christ, strangely they are usually sold in florists for a few cents.

Very beautiful, especially on the aged surfaces. So glad you're recording them if they're disappearing.
