For those who miss Polaroid film (I've got over it), Poladroid could be the answer. This is a great little program that allows you to turn your images into Polaroid style JPEG's. It works on PC and Mac and it's free.
Once you've downloaded the program and started it, you'll see a Polaroid camera on your desktop. Simply drag your original image on to the camera and watch as the Poladroid image develops. The image slowly appears just like the original polaroid, complete with a white border. The colors look very Polaroid and there's even shading around the edges. After the image has developed you can then print it or save it.

ReplyDeleteI just bought a vintage Polaroid land camera on eBay. I collect vintage cameras and had never seen one like this. It's funny to come across this post now.
This is really cool! I have used photoshop actions for making "polaroids" before, but this sounds like much more fun!
