Yesterday I photographed a nice house with this office/study. I've been looking at the photograph and wondering why my office/study could never look as comfortable or as relaxing as this one.It's not the furniture, I like the furniture in my office. It's not the decor or light either. The answer is - No Computer. Look at that desk! It looks like a proper desk on which you work. With a rather tempting armchair to have a snooze in......
Take the computer out of the room and it immediatly looks more relaxing. In my case I'd have to remove the following:
Computer box
Flat screen
Keyboard
Mouse
External hard disc
Scanner
Wacom pad
Router
Speakers
Printer
The components are a very stylish combination of gray, blue, silver, black and beige, with a few flashing green lights for mood. All these items are joined by nine power cables, plus other cables for sound and internet.
All this to write a few words and view my photographs. Is there an alternative? Maybe I just need an armchair.
