Free Collectors Stamps Giveaway

There is a wonderful display cabinet in our local post office, which is always being filled with products available from the Spanish Post Office (especially if you sign up for a new financial service:) - ranging from special edition stamps, to crockery or even a suitcase! Today, I spotted these commemorative stamps and couldn't resist buying some to share with you.

The Spanish postal service have printed a short run of these stamps, they are limited to a few thousand of each. Most of these stamps have already been snapped up by dealers and collectors. They are very collectable - they may even have a monetory value in the future.

These stamps are big, over 4 inches high and slightly more than 3 inches across. One stamp is a delightful illustration with a moral, "don't forget to send a letter". The other stamp is a reproduction of a Spanish tapestry. I love the bold colors and the traditional feel they both have.




The stamps can be used for scrapbooking, decoupage, montage or just looking at and enjoying.
