Rosemary anxiety treatment
I read a poll this week that surveyed 2000 people in Britain, it suggested that up to 70% of those surveyed suffered with anxiety.
Anxiety is compulsive thinking, worrying and fretting. It can keep you awake at night and exhaust you.
I was driving up a mountain road this morning in Southern Spain, the air thick with the smell of rosemary. It made me think (not compulsively), about an old remedy to help prevent anxiety and give you sweet dreams.
It's a rosemary sleep pillow. A handful of rosemary in a net bag placed near your bed. It may not stop the worrying but it might help with the sleep.

Excellent idea! Nature is the best remedy for any ailment. I have so much rosemary right now, and thankfully little stress, so these little bags will be a wonderful aromatic addition to the bedroom.
ReplyDeleteOh, I've tons of it growing in the front yard. I love it when my dogs brush against it and get the scent of Rosemary on their coats. Beautiful pic of the bloom, and that's a very sweet herb bag.
